How does SMS detection work?
On the Android app, you grant SMS access once and Subdek automatically scans bank and payment alerts to detect subscriptions — nothing to copy or paste. On web, paste the SMS text yourself and Subdek extracts the same details.
What kinds of subscriptions can Subdek track?
Anything that renews on a schedule and generates a bank or payment alert — streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, and Spotify, cloud storage, gym memberships, insurance premiums, loan EMIs, and UPI autopay mandates. If it has an amount and a renewal date, you can track it.
Does Subdek detect UPI autopay and e-mandate payments?
Yes. Subdek recognizes UPI Mandate and e-mandate confirmation messages from banks and payment apps and tracks them as recurring subscriptions automatically on Android.
Is Subdek available on iPhone?
The Subdek web app works in any browser, including Safari on iPhone, for manual tracking and reminders. The native app is Android-only right now — iOS doesn't allow apps to read SMS, so automatic detection is an Android feature.
How do I stop or cancel a subscription I no longer want?
Subdek tracks and reminds you about subscriptions, but it doesn't cancel them on your behalf — you still cancel directly with the merchant (e.g. in the Netflix or Spotify app). Subdek's job is making sure you notice it before the next renewal.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, anytime from Settings. This removes your data per our privacy policy.
